What problems does your business solve? At Calming Nature Therapies I implement effective counselling and therapeutic methods with a holistic approach to healing and health. I can provide individual or group Art Therapy sessions to help clients reduce stress, anxiety, trauma or grief. Allowing clients to increase self-esteem and confidence through a process of art making activities with the emphasis on the process of creating and meaning-making, rather than on the end product. On a lighter side I offer Art Lessons for all ages plus "Wine Down" with Art parties and SoulCollage® Workshops. As a practicing artist I enjoy making art work for others and have taken on commissioned work in the past.

What’s something that you wish you had known before getting into business? There has been times that I would doubt myself and wonder if I could do this. However, my creative passion and wanting to provide a service to others is far greater than my fears. It has taken courage to make the leap of faith and trust myself. Trusting the process and asking for help along the way has been a continued valuable lesson.

Tell us something about you that most people don’t know? I gave Queen Elizabeth some flowers when I was 10yrs old.
